Anas Alehroob

Anas is Technical Director at Queequeg Renewables. He is an electrical engineer, with experience in geomatics engineering. Anas brings two decades of industry experience to the team.

Queequeg’s Technical Director, Anas brings over 20 years’ experience from the transmission and distribution sectors, in chemicals manufacturing and production, front end engineering design (FEED), internet of things (IoT), and in renewables. Working alongside stakeholders and financial institutions, Anas brings into practice all of the elements necessary for holding a stable and highly banking graded assets.

What is your role at Queequeg Renewables?

A

In a nutshell, working with industry leaders and experts, from OEMs, integrators, consultants, and EPCs side by side with our clients and partners, and with our brilliant and bright engineers at Queequeq for one purpose: to achieve feasible, sustainable and – naturally - profitable projects.

What made you make a career move into renewable energy?

A

When I moved my career to the RES sector, I thought it was a good idea to boost my own exposure in a fast-growing industry, over time. In fact, it turned out to be a “necessity” for all of the obvious reasons!

How do you think your personality adds to the team?

A

I’d actually rather hear from others in my domain on what they think about my personality at work! However, what I can say is that I’m determined, I know my purpose in this endeavour, and from there I always try to make sure that it will add value where it should, and in the most effective way.
