Quote

“I feel blessed and extremely lucky to do a job that allows me to pursue my love of nature, the outdoors and of protecting our natural environment for my children and for future generations to enjoy and share in a sustainable way.”

Q

Which part of the Queequeg engine are you?

A
I would say that I am like the motor oil. I am the key point of contact between the various Queequeg teams, facilitating effective communication between the different players. I guarantee a level of continuous monitoring, avoiding and overcoming project blocks and allowing for a swift and efficient achievement of each project’s assigned objectives.
Q

Is part of your renewable energy mission to save the world?

A
Yes, of course! I love being outdoors, cycling and walking in the mountains and I would like my children and my grandchildren to continue doing so too. I imagine most people feel the same. (Certainly, everybody at Queequeg does). I love being part of this outfit, where everyone does what they can and brings their different experiences and viewpoints to the table. As someone far wiser than me once said, “many small drops make a sea.
Q

You are an electrical engineer with 20 years of experience in public administration. Why Queequeg?

A
Why not? I’ve a strong sense of responsibility, towards the future of energy security, and towards the environment and the future of our planet. I strongly believe in what I do, which is also why, throughout my career I have always questioned those who told me, “It can't be done, it's always been done that way.
